The University of Illinois System seeks applicants for the IT Support Associate position. The incumbent will join the AITS Service Desk, a team of technical staff who provide 24/7 customer support and application monitoring for the University's enterprise computer systems. This position will work 37.5 hours per week on third shift. This position requires basic customer service and computer skills and either one year of progressively responsible work experience in information technology-related profession, preferably in a Service Desk or Production Control role, or 60 semester hours in Information Technology (IT), IT Management, or a closely related discipline (or a combination of these). Previous experience working overnight shifts is desired.
