University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Champaign Illinois seeks a Software Developer. Duties: Develop and document database applications for the various programs in the Office of the Dean of Students - Tenant Union, Student Legal Services, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and the Illinois Leadership Center. Provide reports from and streamline access to various campus data sources and explore the use of new technologies to support office programs. Work collaboratively with staff within the Office of the Dean of Students, Student Affairs, and the Illinois Leadership Center to modify or develop database applications.

Explore the use of new technologies to support programs offered by the Office of the Dean of Students, Student Affairs, and the Illinois Leadership Center. Independently complete assigned projects lasting two to six months. Assist with the planning and research of IT systems and products. Develop and provide data reports for existing web applications via SQL Server Integration Services. Program websites and applications to meet client needs. Modify existing functionality to enhance web accessibility. Develop websites and applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Integrate client and server side technologies. Develop and provide data reports for existing web applications via SQL Server Integration Services. Create technical documentation for internal and external audiences. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related. One (1) year experience as a System Project Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related, which includes secure web application development, experience with SQL and relational database design, experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, experience with Object Oriented Programming/Design, working alone and as part of a programming team, management of multiple projects, short term and long term, concurrently and consecutively. Full-time.
